Prizefighter is pleased to announce a collaboration with Gerry Peñalosa, a well-known figure in the boxing world. Geronimo “Gerry” J. Peñalosa was a professional boxer in the Philippines from 1989 to 2010. As per his professional boxing record, Peñalosa won 55 fights out of 65. From 1997 to 1998, he held the WBC and lineal super-flyweight titles, as well as the WBO bantamweight belt from 2007 to 2009. Peñalosa is originally from San Carlos, Negros Occidental, and now lives in Manila. He was mostly coached by Freddie Roach, and after retiring, he went on to become a boxing trainer himself.
Gerry Peñalosa is the owner of one of the most popular boxing gyms in the Philippines known as the Gerry Peñalosa Boxing Gym (GPBG). It is one of Metro Manila’s most easily accessible boxing and fitness clubs. The staff, trainers, and community at GPBG are all courteous and professional.
