What is Move-to-earn?
Move-to-earn (M2E) is a new variant of the P2E paradigm. Based on P2E mechanisms, M2E focuses on health and fitness with users being rewarded for physical activity. Although M2E is a novel term, it is not a new concept. For years, exercise has been gamified but one thing that sets Prizefighter apart is that you don’t have to be a professional athlete to earn rewards from playing sports. M2E allows anyone to earn for simply being active.
The inherent trait of being healthier is appealing not only to users in need of a ‘gamification push,’ but also to other businesses that profit from a more physically active community. To progress in this game, you must literally only have to move. The more you move the more $RING tokens you can earn which increases your chances of winning and levelling up. This “FitnessFi” concept is a rapidly expanding section of Web3 that allows users to manage and monetize their time spent playing games.
How does M2E work in-game?
The users who perform physical activities on their phone or gadgets will naturally increase their game stats and help them earn more $RING tokens. We currently support all kinds of physical activities that your phone or gadget can record except swimming. In our Fight-to-earn boxingverse, players will need to wear the VR glasses and to “physically knock down” opponents in first person view.
We are well aware that in order to become a successful boxer, it requires a lot of hard work behind the scenes before any boxer can go on to winning world championships. Therefore we are glad to announce this long awaited update for our wonderful users!
Each step you take will contribute towards your rewards. Each physical training you engage in will not only train up yourself, but will also train up the boxers in game to help you gain additional $RING tokens. After “training up” your boxer, the NFT boxer stats will be increased. This will allow boosting the boxers winning rate on matches, and win more $RING in each game mode.
